Ronnie S. LOVELL Obituary
POQUOSON - On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 2:40 p.m., Ron received his pilot license at home while Ute held his hands. Free to fly without pain and no more suffering from Pancreatic Cancer.
Ron graduated from CNU, in 1991, and for 42 years he was employed by NASA CTR in Hampton with different contractors, the last being SGT, Inc.
Ron was a kind and good man, not knowing many strangers. He will be missed by his loving wife, Ute, whom he was married to for 36 years this past April; his beloved golden retriever, "Copper Clad;" brothers, Frank Lovell and wife, Geneva, and Ed Lovell and wife, De; three nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Wiley and Hazel Lucille Sands Lovell.
Ron's wish was to be cremated with no services and no flowers. Instead on August 17, 2012, which would have been his 71st birthday, we will celebrate his life at his home from 3 to 6 p.m., all friends invited, the attire will be casual "no ties," and Bud will be furnished.
If you wish to make a donation, please choose a ; or if you do not have one you may consider the Animal Aid Society, Inc., 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
We want to thank Dr. Scott Kruger, nurse Laurel, for their kind and professional service Ron received during his illness. Also, to Heartland Hospice Services, Chaplain David, and nurse Cindy, who was with Ron till the end.
"Mein schatz, bis wir uns wiedersehen. Ich werde dich nie vergessen."
