Obituary Condolences

POQUOSON - Sarah Virginia Crockett Diggs, 84, a native of Seaford and resident of Poquoson for 68 years, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 13, 2012.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Ladies Bible
Class, and in her earlier years she was an active member at Poquoson Assembly of God. She looked forward to and enjoyed being a part of the Poquoson Senior Citizens. 'Miss Virginia' was a homemaker who loved spending time with her large family and friends, and taking care of the love of her life for 68 years, 'Futsie.' She was a devoted wife and mother.
Miss Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Birdie Crockett; brothers, Ernest Crockett, William Crockett, and Ferdinan Crockett; sisters, Levelia Ann Parker, Emma Lee Hogge, Bessie Crockett, Lessie Crockett; and a granddaughter, Keresa Gayle Diggs.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James W. 'Futsie' Diggs Jr.; sons, Winfrey Diggs and wife, Penny, and Elmer Diggs and wife, Debbe; daughters, Hilda Spain and husband, Bob, and Debra Bunting and husband, Grayson, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and seven great great-grandchildren; a brother, Rogers Crockett; a sister, Alberta Flowers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Trinity United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Charles Stacy, Pastor Don G. Marsh, and the Rev. Milford C. Rollins. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
