I met Shirley our freshman year of high school at PTHS. Home room. We were best friends all through high school. Having fun and getting into trouble. College years took different turns, but always kept in touch. Reconnected when after her marriage and when she lived in TUCKERTON. Fast forward years later and after our daughter moved to Virginia for grad school, I called her to chat and she had been living not a 1/2 hr away! What are the chances? She helped our daughter Sarah find her first rental in Gloucester Virginia. I couldn't believe when Suzanne called and told me the news. This past spring we were planning on meeting, but Shirley wasn't feeling well. Had I known, I would of went to see her. I will always miss her and remember all the good times we had. Shirley had a heart of gold, and would do anything for you. I'll miss her always. My condolences to Jack, Suzanne, Jackie and Eric. My heart goes out to you all. Love you, Marcy Fort Sumoski. ❤ God Bless

To the family and friends of Ms. Shirley Ann:

What a beautiful lady on the outside and no doubt on the inside too.

May our God strengthen you all during this difficult time.
