Walter "Tommy" Branch, 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Richmond. He was a lifelong resident of Poquoson. Tommy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Rehabilitation Services Inc. as a Home Field Monitor. Tommy was an avid bowler for many years. He never knew a stranger and was loved by all who met him. He touched so many lives with his heart of gold and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in rest by his parents Henry Earl and Louise Evans Branch and brother-in-law, David Thomas Sills. Tommy is survived by his sisters, Linda Branch Little (Roy) and Connie Sills; brother, Earl Lee Branch; nieces and nephews Barbara Ellen Little, Connie Roberts (Karl Jr), Doug Little (Diane), Vickie Topping (Robbie), Rachel Lawrence, Christopher Branch (Ashley), Brandon Branch; great nieces and nephews, Michael and Donovan Richardson, Elyssa and Emma Roberts, Ethan and Cody Little, Samantha Topping, Jameson Branch; and faithful companion, Buckshot. The family will receive guests from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home followed by a celebration of Tommy's life to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Patricia Riggs officiating. Interment at Parklawn Memorial Park.
