William Aloyious Connaughton III Obituary
POQUOSON - Bill cashed in his chips and checked out of our earthly casino for the final time. As an avid poker player, he will be gambling in the Big Sky Casino. In other words, he bought the farm, bit the dust, or ceased to be among the living on February 27, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian; daughter, Christine; sisters, Kathy and Barbara; brother, Thomas; many in-laws, nieces and nephews; and Lab, Max. Burning the candle at both ends and living his life his way might have contributed to Bill's demise. He was a Rock and Roll fan and a sportsman, but his passion was building custom homes. Bill is going out the way he lived. He would still like his closest family/friends to annually truck to Atlantic City and blow some hard earned cash. Join us for a catered Celebration of his Life at the J.O.U.A.M. Lodge, 10 Lodge Road, Poquoson, on Saturday, March 8 from 2-5 p.m. A two drink minimum and casual dress is required. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Aid Society, 8 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666. Penned by Bill.
