HAMPTON - Jack W. "Jay" Sykes, 55, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was a lifelong Peninsula resident. Jack worked as a field service representative for Vixxo Corporation. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and the best husband, dad, and granddad ever possible. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Theresa "Terri" Sykes; sons, Jason Sykes, and Jack "Jay" Sykes, Richard Weil; sister, Holly Gentry; grandchildren, Haylee Weil, Aiden Weil and Jason Sykes II; and one, might as well have been grandson, Edward Lee Watson. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6 at Peninsula Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

As much as hearing about Jay's departure hurs my heart, I cannot fully imagine the sorrow that you may be experiencing with losing your best buddy. Please know that you are close at heart as I pray for strength for you in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
