Jerry Wayne Gaddis Jr.

1964 - 2018

Jerry “Jerry the Painter� Wayne Gaddis, Jr., died May 15, 2018, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital from complications of an auto accident. In keeping with Jerry’s loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live and he was the first organ donor in fifteen years at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Jerry was a sports enthusiast and devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan as well as an Oakland Raider fan. His father, Jerry Gaddis; sisters, Mae Rosell and Shannon West preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Ann Gaddis Insley; sisters, Elizabeth Curtis (Dave) and Kendra Burland (William); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service conducted by the Reverend Carol Bookwalter will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. before the service. Interment will be private at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
