So, so sad. John was a good guy...kind, helpful.
For our class reunion he made a picture frame 'photo booth'. It was absolutely perfect!.
We were all so fond of him.
Rest in peace. Our memories of him are now all we have.

We will grieve the loss of John. We will also remember what a great person he was. His kindness, his humor and the great times shared. John is a person who had a heart of gold and who took time for the pleasures in life. He was a strong man with a soft heart. My memories of him will always be dear to me. Petey is happy you are with him John. For a time, my heart is broken, but hopefully soon; it will be replaced solely with wonderful memories and comfort that you are no longer struggling. Eileen I am sorry you are grieving the most incredible loss any person could. I know you will find comfort and solace in family, but please reach out if you need to. We love you,

I exercised with John at pulmonary rehabilitation for many years and always loved his sunny disposition and upbeat attitude. We shared the same doctor at New York Presbyterian Hospital and I'm sure she's also devastated by John's passing. Many prayers going out for his soul and for his surviving family Jim Quain

He lived in Roxbury his whole life. He had the sense of humor of our Uncle Bill. He would give his shirt off his back for anyone. He loved to hunt, fish and go bowling. He always shared his candy making sure you got the good ones. He use to let me jump on his bed when I was little and listen to records in his room. He use to sleigh ride with me and my brother. We played with my grams dog Cookie together. No words can describe what a wonderful person he was and how much we love him. We will miss him so much words can not describe it.
