Douglas Besen Obituary
AGE: 76 • Lake Hiawatha
Douglas Besen, age 76, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on January 14, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, Doug lived most of his life in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, retiring to Georgia five years ago. He was self-employed as the president of Besen Associates, an executive recruiting firm in Mountain Lakes.
He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Robert Besen. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie Setzer Besen; his daughter Stephanie Ann Besen of Cumming; his daughter-in-law, Kate Besen of West Caldwell; his grandchildren, Jacob Thomas Besen and Charlotte Jane Besen, of West Caldwell; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Marilyn Besen and Barry and Laura Besen; his sister-in-law, Ronnie Setzer Pepin of East Brunswick; and his many nieces and nephews.
Services will by Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at The McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, with Shiva to be observed at the family home in Cumming. In keeping with his wishes, Doug's ashes will be taken to Hawaii with a little reserved for the Las Vegas Strip.
