Ruth Huckabee Obituary
Ruth A. Huckabee, 81, a 45-year resident of Fairfield, died Sept. 29, 2007, at NorthBay Medical Center.
Ruth was born on Nov. 14, 1925, in Los Angeles and was employed as a bookkeeper. She was a very social person and always had a hug for everybody. Her family she was a little flirt. One of her hobbies was doing crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Huckabee; and son, Rodney Huckabee.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Huckabee and Marie Nenio, both of Fairfield; sister, June Gettinger of Arizona; and grandchildren, Shania and Aleise Huckabee, and Rodney Huckabee Jr.
A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Fairfield Funeral Home. A funeral is at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at Fairfield Funeral Home. Burial is at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
