Nancy Schnetzler Obituary

Schnetzler, Nancy Jane, age 86, of Center Line, passed away on December 1, 2015 in Center Line, Mich. She was born September 12, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. Loving mother of David Beamer (Helen), LuAnn Beamer (Doug Hise), and Emily Beamer (Randal Cox). Proud grandmother of Amelia, Nathaniel, Zachary, and Eris. Sister of Jack Wyatt. Predeceased by her husband, John Schnetzler; her parents, Clyde and Mamie Wyatt, and sister, Norma Hinson. Nancy was a graduate of Royal High School. Her work career included employment as an airline stewardess, secretary, bank teller, and Inspector for the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service. In addition to being an extraordinary baker, a gracious hostess, and a talented seamstress, Nancy was well-known for her abilities in creating dried-flower arrangements. In 1993, she designed and created a wreath that hung on the official White House Christmas Tree. For several years, she sang in a local woman’s choral group, Sometime Singers.
