Arthur Lavine, Jr.
OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Arthur Lavine, Jr., 69, who entered eternal rest, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA. Rev. Willie Maynard will officiate at the services.
Mr. Lavine is survived by his former wife, Mrs. Florence W. Lavine of Moreno Valley, CA; a son, Michael H. Lavine of Moreno Valley, CA; three brothers, Herbert Lavine (Mary Alice) of Opelousas, LA, Ervin Lavine (Jan-Noel) of Las Vegas, NV and Raymond Lavine (Wanda) of Houston, TX; two sisters, Renell Taylor and Laura White both of Opelousas, LA; 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Mr. Lavine was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lavine, Sr. & Ola Charles Lavine and a brother, Herman Lavine.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA.
