Donaleigh Fontenot
OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ in Opelousas for Ms. Donaleigh Fontenot a/k/a/ Dot-T, 57, who passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas.
Rev. Frank L. Ford will be officiating the funeral services.
Ms. Fontenot is survived by: her son, Awen Karl Fontenot of Opelousas; her daughter, Kenya Shanta Fontenot of Lake Charles; two brothers, Danna Fontenot of Sumter, SC and Terry Fontenot of Pampa, TX; two sisters, Carolyn Bridges and Cynthia Fontenot, both of Sumter, SC; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin (Edna Mae Barrow) Fontenot and two grandchildren, Awen Fontenot, Jr. and Tyran Fontenot.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ.
