Joseph L. Coco

GRAND COTEAU - Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau for Joseph L. Coco, age 74, who passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10:10 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Mr. Coco was a native of Mansura, LA and a lifelong resident of Grand Coteau. He retired after twenty-seven years of service with Mobile Exxon as a foreman. Mr. Coco was a veteran of the military having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau.

Survivors include his wife of forty nine years, Margaret Roy Coco of Grand Coteau; one son, Willie Troy Coco and his companion, Sonya Papillion, of Grand Coteau; three daughters, Gretchen Coco, Raymunda Coco and Riva Mosely and her husband, Reginald, all of Grand Coteau; nine grandchildren, Joseph Eaglin, Taylor Eaglin, John-Morgan Eaglin, Adrian Eaglin, Nicholas Coco, Marlon Coco, Aaliyah Coco, Cameron Mosely and Caleb Mosely; one brother, Martin Coco of Grand Coteau; and two sisters, Ida Landry and Ann Marie Jean and her husband, Wayne, all of Grand Coteau.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laudric Coco and the former, Germaine Ozene.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Monday until service time on Monday.
