Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in First Pentecostal Church in Bayou Rouge for Hubert Eugene Bihm, age 70, who passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 at 3:00 a.m. in Courtableau, LA.
Interment will be in Waxia, LA.
Mr. Bihm was a native and resident of Palmetto. He worked with Stelly's truck stop in LeBeau as a service manager for 19 years. He retired with the town of Palmetto after 9 years of service. He was a parishioner of First Pentecostal Church of Bayou Rouge.
Survivors include his former wife, Sibyl Schexnayder of Port Barre; one sons, Ezekiel Eugene Bihm, and his companion, Dannika Spell, of Opelousas; three daughters, Melissa B. Oncale and her husband, Ronnie, of Courtableau, Lisa Ozanne and her companion, Chris Cooper, of Bayou Rouge, and Candy Bihm and her companion, Craig Schexnayder, of Palmetto; two step-children, Tommy James Schexnayder of Texas and Garrett Schexnayder and his wife, Misty, of Port Barre; four brothers, Harry Bihm, Bill Bihm and his companion, Jocelyn, Barney Bihm and his wife, Patsy, and Claude Bihm, Jr. and his wife, Emma, all of Palmetto; four sisters, Shirley Doucote, Yvonne Bihm and her companion, Rickey, Verbie Rogers and her husband, George, all of Palmetto, and Earline Rogers and her husband, Jimmy, of Simsport, LA; fourteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude MaCon Bihm and the former, Olivier Beard; one son, Andrew Bihm; and three grandchildren.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at First Pentecostal Church in Bayou Rouge from 2:00 p.m. Friday until service time at First Pentecostal Church in Bayou Rouge.
Pallbearers will be Ezekiel Eugene Bihm, Ronnie Oncale, Nicholas Oncale, Cheyenne Bihm, Laurence Schexnayder, and Craig Schexnayder. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Blake Bihm, Christopher Artigue, and Noah Bihm.
