ELDRIDGE, Margaret Mills Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and teacher was born on June 26, 1940 in Houston, Texas, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas W. Mills and Kathryn C. Mills and is survived by her husband of 52 years, William A. Eldridge; daughters Elizabeth Brannen and husband Lynn, and Holly Addington and husband Don; grandchildren Patrick, Ashley, James and Heather Brannen, Emily, Wes and Claire Addington; brother Tom Mills and wife Ellen; nephew David Mills and his mother Cynthia Mills: and niece Gina Mills. Margaret was a graduate of Lamar High School in Houston and Southern Methodist University, and she earned a masters degree in elementary education from Texas A&M, Commerce. She was an honored teacher in the Highland Park ISD for twenty years. Her family and faith were of great importance to Margaret. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She and Bill were charter members of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Brian Berryman and Nurse Practitioner Claudia Clancy of Texas Oncology for their loving care over the span of her illness, as well as the nurses, techs and staff of the Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, for their many kindnesses and excellent treatment. A memorial service for Margaret will be held at Park Cities Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 4 p.m. If desired, memorials can be made to the Leukemia And Lymphoma Society.
