WHITE, RONNIE LEE July 9, 1957 to February 5, 2008, Ronnie Lee White, 50, born July 9, 1957 in La Rochelle, France, assumed his bass part in the Heavenly choir on Tuesday, February 05, 2008. Ron was an incredible, loving father and husband and adored his three "girls"; his wife Terri and his two daughters, Courtney and Catherine. Ron also leaves behind step-mother Irene Owen, brother Pat White, sisters Donna White, Lora Leigh Wells and step sister Rose Tilley. A kind, likeable, man's man, and a die hard Miami Dolphins fan, Ron was gifted with a servant's heart that opened him to so many roles : a devoted father and husband, a respected, generous, hard working employer, a helpful neighbor who was always there to lend a hand, a great cook, a guy you could always turn to for help. One of his great joys was singing in the Stonebriar Community Church Choir. Music was a huge part of his life and he loved using his gift to worship and praise our Lord. After graduation, Ron was drawn to the restaurant business for several years and eventually took his service and hospitality ethic to the automobile service and repair industry. As an owner of two Drivers Edge locations, both his customers and his staff loved him for his honesty, his ready laugh and desire to help. He took the responsibility of their trust very seriously and always wanted to make sure that he never let them down. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. Friends and family will gather to celebrate both his earthly life and his entrance into the kingdom at 7pm Friday, February 8, 2008 at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to C. White for a College fund on behalf of his daughters @ P.O. Box 1696, Frisco, Texas 75034.
