Today would have been our sweet daughter Brandi's 40th birthday. We visited her grave today and placed red roses there because red was her favorite color. We miss her so much and I know her girls Amber and Ashley do too! We prayed to Jesus to give her a big hug today and we know He will. Thank you Lord for giving us a loving daughter like Brandi.

I have been thinking about Brandi now for so many years. This year will be our 20 year high school reunion, and they posted a list of classmates they needed to contact. I simply "google" Brandi's name as I have many times before with no luck. I found this. My name is Kim Shipp Chester, and I knew Brandi from Poteet we were the best of friends. I am so shocked about this, especially since it was 10 years ago. I know how her daughters feel, I lost my mom at an early age as well. I hope Jackie and Bonnie read this and know I love them and I am deeply moved by this ongoing guestbook. Brandi will always be in my heart. Love, Kim

Amber Red Crayon ~ Ashley Senor Taco Oct 2011
Today, January 13, 2012, would have been our daughter's 38th birthday. She is missed so very much. Never a day goes by that we don't think of her. We pray to God and ask Him that if at all possible, He wrap His loving arms around Brandi and give her a hug from us and tell her how much we love her.

Brandi's girls, Amber and Ashley, are juniors in High School and doing well. I'm attaching a Halloween picture of them. They went to a Halloween party and the judges couldn't decide between the two of them who was best, so they both won the prize. Amber is a Red Crayon and Ashley is Senor Taco with a mustache. They had lots of fun. They miss their mother so much.

A close friend of ours, Trang Ton nu Vo, who knew Brandi when she was about 5 or 6 years old, sent flowers today for us to take to the cemetary. They are a mixture of red flowers which are Brandi's favorite color.

In Brandi's memory, we have also placed flowers in the Church Sunday.

Brandi is in our hearts and on our mind daily, but we have sweet peace knowing she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we will see her again one day in Heaven.

Ashley and Amber at Chili's
Brandi's twin daughters, Amber and Ashley, turned 17 years old last Sunday. They stayed with us two weeks and we went to movies, shopping, out to eat, six flags, and they both asked to volunteer at Buckner's Crisis Relief Center where their grandpa works, working very hard to help indigent families in need of food and clothing.

We all miss Brandi so much but we know she is in God's presence. It helps having her twin daughters living close by; plus we can see Brandi through them as they look like and remind us so much of their mother. God has His hands on these girls and their lives and their mom would be so proud of them. They are working hard in school and are growing up so fast! I'm attaching a recent photo of the girls.

Remembering Brandi always,
Mom and Dad

Not a day goes by that we don't think of our dear daughter Brandi, see her picture ... think of her twin daughters Amber and Ashley, and remember our daughter's precious life. We all miss her terribly. Her daughters will be here soon for summer vacation with us as well as their other grandma, and great-grandma and aunts, uncles, sister, and cousins and we all can't wait for them to arrive. They are special girls with a sweet, sweet spirit just like their mommy! We know Brandi is in Heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is probably rocking babies like she did at church on Sunday mornings at Lakepointe as a volunteer. Brandi's girls and us, her mom and dad, will all see her again one day when it is our time to go to Heaven. What a wonderful reunion we will all have with Brandi that day where we will all live eternally together! Glory to God! She is forever in our hearts!

Our prayer every night is for Jesus to tell Brandi hello and "We love You" and miss you so very much.

This was our second Christmas without Brandi. Brandi always loved Christmas. We placed a Christmas graveblanket on her grave space along with a little small decorated Christmas tree. Jamie visited Brandi's grave while he and Melissa, Lindsey, and Clint were in town for the holidays. Ashley and Amber picked out flowers for Brandi and we took them out yesterday to visit their mommy's grave and leave the flowers. Since Brandi's birthday is January 13th and the girls won't be here at that time, they also left a birthday card at the grave with personal notes they had written to their mommy.

We all miss and love you Brandi.

Our family wants to share this day as it would have been Brandi's 30th birthday and also 9 months since she passed to be with the Lord. Her father and I took Brandi's two girls to the cemetary this afternoon and placed balloons and red flowers on the grave. Brandi's favorite color was red. The girls also wrote a special message to their mommy and we hooked them to a helium balloon. Then they stopped to think of special memories of their mommy. After doing so, they released the balloon with their notes attached into the sky. We all hugged and watched the balloon disappear into the sky far away. Each of us love and miss Brandi dearly and are thankful knowing she is in Heaven walking those streets of gold.

I was drawn Brandi's guest book due to us having the same last name. I felt a need to offer my sympithy. Although Brandi's mission on earth is complete she is very near cheering her loving family on as you complete God's plan. When the time comes God will bring us all home and we will once again be reunited with all of our lost loved ones. But, always know that with every breath you take, and every step you make Brandi is with you and her girls.

As I read about Ashley & Amber and how they spend their summer days, I can still remember all the fun days that I was able to spend with Brandi every summer at my house and also the fun times at Six Flags at her home in Dallas. One of Brandi's twin daughters, Amber (my granddaughter) came to me this evening and had a note she had made and wanted to show it to me. I looked at it, then Amber and I both looked at each other and we both started crying. She had written "In Memory of Mommy", then there was a picture of Brandi she taped to the page and under the picture she wrote "I Love You Mommy, Love Amber, June 23, 2003".

Their mommy would be so proud of them. The girls tell us they have "Jesus in their heart". I know Brandi was smiling down from Heaven when the girls told us.

Dear Lord, bless Brandi's precious little girls, Ashley and Amber, with your love and peace. Comfort them in Jesus arms I pray.

Dear Bonnie & Jackie; Thank you for all the summers you let Brandi live with me. Candy & Dusty grew up knowing a very special cousin, we had so much fun swimming, shopping, etc. Little did we know she wouldn't be around to watch all of us grow old and then she would take care of us, like she did Ashley & Amber, the preacher was right, Brandi did take care of everything and care about everything and everyone. We had so much fun in Dallas at Six Flags. What are we going to do without her?
