News Death Notice

KILMER, Ida "Buzz" (nee Oliver) age 104, passed on October 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by John L., (1996), her husband of 70 years and her sister, Grace Baker (2006). She was a graduate of Brookville High School class of 1926. She is survived by her two sons, Tommy (Becky) of California and Ted of Centerville; four grandchildren, Michele Clement and Stephanie Griffis of Texas, Mary Beth McBride of Centerville, Matt Kilmer of Columbus; and 5 great-grandchildren. Buzz worked as a certified hair stylist, a part-timer at Rikes, AAA, and the county board of elections. She was a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband shared a great love for the game of golf. They played many courses across the country, and she won club championships in both Eaton, Ohio and St. Ignace, Michigan. Services will be private for family only with interment at Royal Oaks Memorial Gardens, Route 40, Brookville, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.routsong.com.

Sorry about Buzz's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed being neighbors so long ago and my summer with her in Michigan. I always enjoyed the family.
