BARTLEY, Allen 82, of Trotwood, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born in Evarts, Kentucky on May 9, 1931 to Cas & Lela (Green) Bartley. Allen was a retired over the road trucker for Phillips Industries (Lau Blower Division) and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Horizon Hope Ministries. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters & 3 brothers. Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Ruth (Anderson) Bartley; son, Preston King (LuAnn); grandson, Corey P. King; 2 great granddaughters, McKenna & Addison; sister, Gwendolyn Howerton; brothers, Conrad & Jack Bartley; a multitude of nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Friday, Mar. 21, 2014 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Rev. William E. Saunder, Jr., officiating. Interment Willow View Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday (12-1 p.m.) at the George C. Martin Funeral Home.
