BROWN, Dorothy J. Age 88, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Dorothy was born June 30, 1930 in Brandt, Ohio to the late Raymond & Nettie (Malone) Hatfield. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Clyde L. Brown, in 2015; and by two brothers, Mike & Ralph Hatfield. Dorothy is survived by five children, Barbara Hockman (Nick), Mike Brown (Gail), Don Brown (Terry), Jim Brown (Lynette) & Larry Brown (Debby); 12 grandchildren, Megan, Tif, Mikey, Robby, Beth, Dan, Ely, Sarah, Becca, Jenny, Chrissy & Katie; and by 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday (1/14) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Dorothy to either the Salvation Army, 4912 Airway Rd # 0904, Dayton, OH 45431 or to the Arthritis Foundation at Arthritis.org.
