News Death Notice

HOLLAND, Herbert H. 84, of Camden, Ohio, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at The Knolls of Oxford. Born on October 27, 1928 in Bono, Arkansas the son of the late Herschel & Emma (Walker) Holland. Herb was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. From 1955 to 1973 he worked at NCR in Dayton, OH and retired in 1991 from Beavercreek Tool & Mold. He served as Pastor for 7 years at God's House of Prayer in Fairborn, Ohio and has been a member of the First Baptist Church in Camden. Preceded in death by his first wife: Mila B. Holland in February 1994: Brothers: Jess Holland, Joe Goodman and Everett Mansfield and Sisters: Mabel Adams and Reba Marshall. Survived by his Wife of 14 years: Dorothy Spradling Holland; Children: H. Dean Holland of West Carrollton, OH; Carl Ray Spradling of St. Augustine, Fl; Elmo Spradling of Eaton, OH; Anthony "Tony" Spradling of Fairfield, OH; Linda Kay Swinhart of Dayton, OH; Barbara Goldhammer of Richmond, IN; Saundra Evans of Aurora, CO and Deloris Spradling Smith of Hamilton, OH; 23 Grandchildren; 43 Great Grandchildren and 23 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at First Southern Baptist Church - 35 North Liberty Street Camden, Ohio with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment Fairmount Cemetery - Camden, OH. Visitation Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the church.
