News Death Notice

HELTON, Lymuel Estle aka "Pappy" and "Cuz" age 83, of Knoxville, TN formerly of Wilton, KY passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 in Powell, TN. He as born February 3, 1929 in Wilton, KY to the late Estle and Cordie Helton. He was a Navy WWII veteran, member of West Corbin Christian Church, and former member of East Dayton Christian Church of Dayton, Ohio. He was one of the founding members of Overlook Homes and Recreation, and very active in his community wit the youth. He retired from Chrysler Air-temp with thirty years of service. He was preceded in death by; his wife Imogene Williams Helton, brother Eugene Helton, Grand-daughter Amanda Couch, Daughter-in-law Heidi Helton, and Son-in-law Ron Couch. He is survived by; to sons, Rodney Helton wife Denise, of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Tom Helton of Huber Heights, Ohio. Two daughters; Robin Helton Couch, of Riverside, Ohio, and Debra Teeter husband Edward, of Knoxville, TN. Two brothers, Reed Helton wife Mary, of Burnside, KY, Doyle Helton wife Velma, of Xenia, Ohio, and brother-in-law Larry Williams of Knoxville, TN. Nine grand-children, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 11:00AM. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at ONeil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Toller officiating with burial in Locust Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:30-8:30PM at ONeil-Lawson Funeral Home.
