O'CONNELL, John Joseph Age 91, of Kettering, OH, passed away on June 13. Born in Ft. Thomas, KY. Preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Ann and second wife, Jean Butler Griffith. Survived by his sister, Mary Smith; children, Collen (Jim) Kennedy, Eileen Clark, John Kevin (Pam) O'Connell, Thomas (Catherine) O'Connell, William (Michael Pirkle) O'Connell, and Michael (Kelly) O'Connell; step-sons, John (Anne) Griffith, Kevin (Julie) Griffith, Edmund (Anne) Griffith, and Greg (Michael Martin) Griffith; 25 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerus nieces and nephews. Visitation at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Friday, June 22, 2018 between 5-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave. Kettering, OH. Family and extended family invited to burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.routsong.com.
