WRIGHT, Loren James age 88, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Grand Court of Beavercreek. Loren was born on May 11, 1917 in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Nellimae (Highfill) Wright and his sister Angleen Bowman. He is survived by his three children Donna (Arlie) Hall, Debroah Wright and Robin (Cindy) Wright all of Kettering; five grandchildren Pamela (Jimmy) Martinoale of Huber Heights, Heather Edwards of Wilmington, Nicole Wright-Nunn, Kendra & Shawn Wright all of Kettering; six great grandchildren Jessica, Emily, Cole, Savannah, Ethan & Lily; a nephew Dennis Bowman of Florida; and Loren's extended family Joan Shannon, Jennifer, Todd, Brandon, Justin, Miranda, Jeannie, Rob, Chelsea, Anthony, & Shelby. Loren graduated from Fairview High School. He worked at Delco Moraine in management and retired in 1974 after 31 years. He was a great golfer, he loved the game and taught his children to love it also. He had a passion for cars and loved to sit on the porch and watched the traffic go by. He was a gentle, quiet man who loved his family deeply, especially the love of his life, our mother. Knowing they are together again brings a smile to all our faces. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. with the memorial service at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
