Bruce LANHAM Obituary
LANHAM, Bruce Age 56, of Ross, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 11, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Christopher and Juanita (Lane) Lanham. He graduated from Ross High School (Class of 1979) and from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. On July 25, 1981, he married Beverly Hiler in Macedonia Christian Church. He was a member of Macedonia Christian Church and served as an Elder there. Passionate about teaching kids, Bruce was employed for over 20 years as a science teacher at Taylor High School in the Three Rivers Local School District. Kids were very special to him and his legacy will live on in the loving way he taught his students. However; his faith and his family were the most important things in his life. He leaves behind his wife, Beverly Lanham; three children, Sydnee Kate (Wade) Berning, Samantha Jane (Travis) Prater, and Spencer Bruce (fianc? Morgan) Lanham; one granddaughter, Avery Mae Prater; one brother, Don (Phyllis) Lanham; one sister, Cindy (George) Sullender; his mother and father- in-law, Joyce and Donald Hiler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa Lanham, Andy and Kathy Kling, Donald Hiler, Jr., and Rodney (Nikki) Hiler; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Lanham. There will be a memorial visitation at Macedonia Christian Church, 2789 California Road, Okeana, OH 45053 on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 10 am until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 12 noon.
