News Death Notice

WRIGHT, Mary Rogan Age 74, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008. A native of Mississippi and a resident of Dayton the majority of her life. She was a member of of the Church of the Living God. Jewels Dominion Bishop Minnie Penn all of her life. Manager of the Daughters of Christ singing group. A member of of the Cooperative Union with many groups for many years, the original founder of the Gospel Keys of Dayton. Preceded in death by her mother Calli Sanders, father David Crusoe, 2 children Peter Crusoe and Teresa Patterson, 1 grandchild Tyrone Patterson, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories husband Bobby Wright: sons, Willie Spann Jr., Isaac, Robert (Shari) Patterson; daughters, Arlicia Bush, Sharon Melson, of Dayton, Sheila Patterson of Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Special friends Dorothy Hayes, Mary Kay (Dayton Municipal Court Warrant Dept). Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday August 16, 2008 at Church of the Living God, One Fitch Street with Jewel Dominion Bishop Minnie Penn offficiating. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery. Viewing 9:00 AM until the time of service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Ceremonies entrusted to McLIN FUNERAL CHAPEL/NORTHERN HILLS, 2801 North Gettysburg Avenue. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at [email protected].
