News Death Notice

TYREE, Ruth Agnes (Hunkeler) age 85, of Centerville, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was born December 27, 1928 to Leo and Helen Hunkeler (Boesch), in Dayton, OH. She was a graduate of Julienne High School. She was a member of the Weveaweave Club with her high school friends. Their friendship was very dear to her. She retired from Rainsoft of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Tyree. In addition to her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Rose Marie Hunkeler, Catherine Schulkers, brothers, Father Edward Hunkeler, Robert Hunkeler, and son-in-law Donald E. Marczynski. Ruth is survived by her children, Kathleen Marczynski of Centerville, OH, Richard Rieger (Carol) of Monroe, OH, Timothy M. Rieger, Sr. (Victoria) of Centerville, OH, Kristina Trejo (Tim) of Cranberry Township, PA.; grandchildren, Laura Hardy, of SC, Trisha Rieger, of Bowling Green, OH, Timothy M. Rieger II (Andrea) of Centerville, OH, Anthony Rieger (Kendra) of Cincinnati, OH, Ryan Trejo of Columbus, OH, Jacquelyn Heffner (Tim) of Gibsonia, PA, Kimberly Marczynski of Lakeland, FL, Jennifer Brown (Jonathan) of Oxford, OH; great-grandchildren Gabe Hardy of SC, Alexa Rieger and Timothy Rieger III both of Centerville, OH, Claire Brown of Oxford, OH; sisters, Mary Margaret Brown and Helen Pleimann, both of Centerville, OH; brother Leo Hunkeler, Jr. (Ginny) of Centerville, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Liberty Retirement Community of Washington Township for all their care and compassion given to Ruth, including Evercare Hospice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 9:30 until the Memorial Mass at 10:30 at Church of the Incarnation. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
