STRUCKMAN, Thomas Linson Age 70 of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Beavercreek, Ohio. He was born January 28, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to Clarence Lee and Mary Kathryn {Linson} Struckman. Tom graduated from Colonel White High School in 1965, and afterwards joined the United States Air Force, serving as a C-130 mechanic for four years. He worked at Pitney Bowes for over 30 years as a customer representative/service technician, retiring in 2010. He was a loving father and grandfather and a wonderful brother. He had a passion for vintage cars, could fix anything, talk to anyone, and loved life. The very model of benevolence, he was always quick to help friends, family, or strangers and never accepted anything in return. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Thomas C. Struckman (Amber) of Seattle, Washington, and his two grandchildren, Eleanor Ruth and Thomas Everett "Tev" Struckman; his sister Mary Lee (Ken) Davenport; and his dear friend Angela Hull. There will be a celebration of his life from 1-5 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Dignam-Whitmore American Legion #526, 526 Legion Ln, Fairborn, OH 45324.
