MADER, Harold (Bud) Age 73 of Centerville passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Preceded in death by parents Hans and Edna, sister Barbara, and great-niece Stephanie. He is survived by his loving wife Jean; sisters Madonna (Donald) Hilgeford and Harriet (George) Loney; brother-in-law Dennis Barhorst (Alice); and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. A graduate of Patterson Co-Op, Bud lived his whole life in Dayton. He served as an Army Medic in Korea, and was a toolmaker by trade, working most of his career at GM. Bud was a 52 year member of Holy Angels Church, a member of parish council, and the church choir for many years. He was an avid gardener, golfer, and hunter. He was a loving and generous man who taught everyone how to be a better person. We all loved him and will miss him very much. We know that Bud will live on in all he touched. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Senior Living in Oakwood and Hospice of Dayton for their care and support to Bud and the family. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 10 am at Holy Angels Church on Brown and K Street.
