News Death Notice

WESTERN, Ramona Elaine (Moore) age 53 of Englewood, OH, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. Ramona was born on September 19, 1959 in Bolivar, TN to Tom Moore and Pauline (Sheppard) Moore. Ramona was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School and graduated from business school. She was a resident of Chicago, IL and Dayton, OH. She was employed by Kroger of Englewood and prior to her employment there, she was employed as an Activities Associate at Northwoods Nursing Home. Ramona's passion was to care for the elderly and children. She was loved by all who had a chance to know her. Ramona was a loving mother, a doting grandmother and a friend to many. She was known for being able to bring a smile to your face however difficult the situation may have been. Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Western; her parents, Tom and Pauline Moore; her brothers, Allen Moore and David Moore and her sister, Paulette Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Richard Western; a daughter, Elizabeth Western; grandson, Anthony Poole-Western; (3) brothers, Anthony Moore (Germany), Tom Moore, Jr. and Steve Moore (Chicago, IL) and a host of other relatives and friends. Thank you for all who prayed for her during her illness. A special thank you is extended to Hospice of Dayton for making her last days as comfortable as possible. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been set up for Elizabeth Western at Main Source Bank, 8225 N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415.
