News Death Notice

KIGHT, III., Elgin age 57, a lifelong resident of Dayton, transitioned into eternal rest Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. A graduate of Patterson Co-op High School, Class of 1974. Formerly employed as a Communications Dispatcher, Sinclair Community College Office of Public Safety. He received Christ and became a faithful member of God's Lighthouse Community Church and later, Harvest Light Family Ministries where he served as a Deacon. Left to cherish his memory his wife, Marsha (Jones); son, Elgin IV (Michelle) of Columbus, IN; daughters, Taryn Kight, Alexis Jones, & Tamika Sealy; grandson, Frederick Sealy; granddaughters, Carlee Kight, Tara Sealy, & Demonya Reid; sister, Lynnette Kight, all of Dayton; mother, Jo Ann (Richards) Franklin of Sidney, OH; special friend, Michael Marks; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor J. J. Prewitt, officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens.
