Aviation was an important part of the Jordan family history and he frequently attended the Dayton air show with his family. Hiking and sailing were other activities he loved, especially the Clifton Gorge and Cowen Lake areas. Jim was a lifelong member of Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering.
