News Death Notice
SCHROEDER, Lauren Arlene age 12, of Kettering passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Janet Arlene Schroeder and maternal grandfather Charles D. Stratton. Lauren is survived by her parents Lori and Michael Schroeder; sisters Stacey Koogler and Allie Schroeder; paternal grandfather Richard Schroeder; maternal grandmother Nance Mackey; aunts Debie (Tim) Roark and Cindy Kelley; uncle Steve (Debbie) Schroeder; cousin Seana Marie; and numerous other family and friends, including all the wonderful staff at Stillwater Center. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lauren was a student at Northwoods Elementary. Family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00AM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, services will follow at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Laurens Memory to Stillwater Center, 8100 N. Main St. Dayton, Ohio 45415. To send a special message to the family please visit, www.NewcomerDayton.com.

I'll always remember Laurens silent laughter and her little poses, hands behind her head and legs crossed. It brought such joy to us at Stillwater. She will be missed.

To the Schroeder family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for allowing me to take care of Lauren, she was the light of my day. I loved going to work knowing I was going to be her nurse for the day, she brought me so much joy. I loved her as if she were my own. .

It broke my heart to leave Stillwater because I knew I was leaving you, I loved you like my own, you will always have a special place in my heart. I will always think of you at Christmas when I hang your ornnament on my tree, you will always be my baby girl.
