GREENE, Polly A. age 71, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Lifecare Hospitals of Dayton. Polly was born August 30, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Edward and Pauline Harlow. She was a 1958 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a 1977 graduate of Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, PA. Polly was a realtor and broker for over 30 years and the owner of Polly Greene Realty. In 2000 Polly served as president of the Ohio Womens Council of Realtors. She was a kind and loving person, who was always glad to see or hear from you. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Polly's memory will be cherished by her husband of 49 years, John Greene; their children; Kimberly Ferguson, Carrie Shank, and Jeffrey Greene, their sons and daughter in laws Rob Ferguson, Kenny Shank and Angela Greene, their grandchildren; Connor and Jarret Ferguson, Courtney, Lindsay, Brendan, and Cameron Shank, and Miranda and Hayden Greene, also her faithful yorkshire terrier Toby. Family to receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL; where funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011. Rev. David W. Tackett officiating. Donations can be sent in Polly's memory to the American Lung Association 1950 Arlington Lane Columbus, OH 43228. Polly spoke very highly of her grandchildren. I'm sure she is watching over each of them. I miss my "buddy". We could talk for hours.

The Greene Family, Polly and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to grade school and and high school together. Polly was a very special person and will greatly missed by our class. May God Bless Your Family and give you comfort with your loss.
