News Death Notice
HANEY, Voncille age 77, of Dayton, passed away December 2, 2013 at Mary Scott Nursing Home. Born in Anniston, Alabama and a resident of Dayton for over 45 years. She was a member of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Bush and 11 siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Deacon L. C. Haney; sons, William Mallard and Stanley (Carolyn) Mallard; daughters, Bertha Baskin and Daphne Lee; brother, Clyde Bush; sister-in-law, Mary Bush; granddaughters, Makia Baskin, Dayna and Danielle Lee, Tanecia Hall, Lonyea Leavell; great granddaughter, Braxton Hall; God-granddaughter, Brandie Sanders; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, December 6, 2013 at Greater St. John M.B. Church, 4200 Germantown Pike. Pastor Lloyd D. Hayes officiating. Interment Greencastle Cemetery. Visitation from 9 to 11 am. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N.
