News Death Notice
WORRELL, Herman Age 89 of Miamisburg, passed away January 5, 2016. Herman was born in Irvine, KY to the late Eli and Zella Worrell. He had a love and passion for cars. He retired from General Motors after 44 years of loyal service. He had a love and passion for Christ and served faithfully many years in his home church.He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed. Herman leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Wanda Worrell; children, Philip (Lisa) Worrell, Peggy (Brad) Volters, and Carolyn (Jeff) Hill; grandchildren, Erica, Jill, Philip II, Shannan, Lydia, Daniel, and Grace; great-grandsons, Caleb, Andrew, and Danny; brother, Eli (Inez) Worrell, Jr.; sister, Jewell Lyons; and many other loving relatives and friends.A visitation will be held today, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering from 5pm - 8pm, where the funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1pm. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family would like to express their gratitude to Vitas Hospice, Dan Menke, and Jennifer Alexander for their care and compassion during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Herman's memory to VITAS HOSPICE. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.newcomerdayton.com
