SCHULKERS, Joseph R. 86, originally from Reading, Ohio moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1928. He spent the last 21-years as a resident of Plantation, FL; passed away April 13, 2007. Beloved husband of Catherine, who shared 57 ½ wonderful years together. Father of two sons, Stephen (Carol) and Gregory (Cathryn). Two grandchildren, Kyle (Ivy) and Kara. He graduated from the University of Dayton, Ohio with a degree in Engineering. He joined the Navy, completing his Naval Training at Princeton, University. He was a veteran of WWII. He worked for GHR Foundry for 38 years as Chief Staff Engineer. His funeral mass will be celebrated at Calvary Cemetery on Saturday May 19th at 10:00AM 1625 Calvary Avenue, Dayton, OH 45409. Inurnemt will follow immediately following. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Foundation for End-of-Life Care/VITAS Hospice Charitable Fund 5420 NW 33rd Avenue Suite 100, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 arrangements by T.M.
