Natalie M. Genovese
Natalie M. Genovese, 84 of Wilmington, DE, died on February 5, 2013 at Christiana Hospital.
Born and raised in Linwood, PA, she resided the past 12 years in North Wilmington, DE previously residing in Boothwyn, PA. A homemaker devoted to her home and family, she worked at Sacred Heart Hospital as a nurse in her younger years. A devout catholic, she was a member of Holy Child Church, also serving on the Lazarus Committee there. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, baking, gardening as well as caring for her home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. Genovese who died in 2003, father, Guglielmo D'Andreamatteo, mother and stepfather, Anna and Antonio DiPaolo and a sister, Lucy Johnson.
She is survived by sons, Anthony J. (Cathy) Genovese, John (Diane) Genovese and Larry (Christine) Genovese, daughters, Anna J. (Neil) Grobman, Mary L. (Joseph) Craig and Jennifer (Randy) Powell, brothers, Nick and Louis D'Andrea, 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, 11:30 am at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., Wilm., DE where friends may call from 10-11:15 am. Interment, Lawn Croft Mausoleum, Linwood, PA.
