Age 26, of Townsend passed away suddenly on May 19, 2013.

Brittany attended Hodgson Vo-Tech High School, where she studied early childhood education. She was a special loving daughter who adored her children. She earned her certificate as a CNA. Brittany loved animals, music and going to the beach. Brittany enjoyed vacationing, especially to the Caribbean. She also enjoyed being around people, friends and children and loved family holidays. She also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers. Her favorite saying was, Peace Out, Homey G!

Brittany never once was selfish. She is survived by her loving children: Robert and Rylie Thomas; her mother, Dionne Pyle and her husband Charlie; her father, Joseph Purcell; her paternal grandmother, Rose Paradee; her maternal grandmother, Mary Fry; her maternal grandfather, Dallas Fry and his wife Emily; 2 brothers: Charlie and Gage Pyle; the father of her children, Robert Thomas; her paternal grandfather, William Purcell; several aunts, uncles and cousins and her loving cousins Jennifer Goodwin and Cori Fry.

A funeral service will be at 7 P.M. on Friday evening, May 24, 2013 at the BEESON FUNERAL HOME, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. There will be a viewing from 5-7 P.M on Friday, May 24 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 11 am Saturday at Old Drawyers Church Cemetery, Rt. 13 in Odessa. There will be a viewing from 9-10 am on Saturday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713.
