Jack Shupe

Jack Shupe, 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away on July 21, 2014. Jack worked for Chrysler for 36 years and surly loved his job and everyone he worked with. He retired in 1987 but did not stayed retired very long. He went back to Chrysler shortly after retiring and was leading tours through the Chrysler plant in Newark Delaware. He then worked for the blood bank of Delaware delivering blood for about 10 years. That was followed by working at Lexus delivering and picking up cars to be serviced.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife Helen Mae (Buckley) Shupe in 2010. Jack is survived by the pride and joy of his life, daughter Jaci and his two grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica and Jaci's husband Jeff Eastburn. Jack loved spending time with his two grandchildren, and enjoying time with them at his beach house when they were growing up. He also loved his dogs which he always had nick names for them. Jack also served his country during the Korean War and received an Honorable discharge in 1954.

A viewing will be held on Monday July 28, from 10-11am followed by a service at 11am. at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington 19808. Burial will follow the service in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA.
