I continue to remember Nancy fondly. I was always amazed to see a woman in her 80s joyfully mowing her grass and weeding flower beds. I hope to be such a woman in several years. When she would greet me at her door, see was always quick to offer a cup of tea and many moments of conversation.

Dr. Wolfe was the most brilliant and outstanding professor I had at the University of South Carolina. She cared deeply about the subject matter she taught and about her students, all of whom held her in the highest regard. I still remember her lectures all of these many years later. My family had the pleasure of hosting her for a couple of days at our house in Williamsburg, Virginia. Dr. Wolfe held us all in rapt attention telling us many of her travel and scholarly adventures. She was a treasure. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Nancy was a great partner in teaching beginner guitar at Osher Lifelong Learning. She was smart and kind and funny and quick to spot talent! Thanks to her, our beginners found a summer home at Cokesbury Village in recent years. We will miss her.

To Nancy's Family,
Nancy was for many years a delightful neighbor of mine. We shared a joy of gardening. I always admired her life achievements and have missed her the past few years.
I hope Nancy's peaceful passing at home after an amazing life will help to ease your grief in losing her. I will think of you often.
