Edward Diviney Obituary
AGE: 95 • Honey Brook
Edward A. Diviney, 95, of Honey Brook, formerly of Kennett Square died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home in Heatherwood Retirement Community.
Born in Kennett Square, he was the son of the late William L. and Anna A. Hickey Diviney and the husband of the late Mary Ann Reardon Diviney with whom he shared 47 years of marriage before her death in March, 2003.
Edward served in the US Army during WW II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge where he received a Purple Heart. He worked for the PA Liquor Control Board for many years.
Edward is survived by his children, William and his wife Candy of Coatesville and Edward and his wife Josephine of Wilmington; three grandchildren: William, Erin and Colin; and a great grandchild, Ashie. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Teresa Kusnierczyk. He is predeceased by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral Mass for Edward will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St Patrick Catholic Church, 218 Meredith St, Kennett Square. Family and friends may visit at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
Memorials in Edward's honor may be made to Meals on Wheels of Chester County, Inc. 404 Willowbrook Lane West Chester, PA 19382-5570.

It is never easy to lose a loved one, I pray you find comfort in God's promise found at John 6:40 which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the family.
