Formerly of Plains, PA, she moved to Delaware in 2002 and was a graduate of Plains High School, Class of 1937. She worked as a seamstress for Leslie Faye for 40 years. Granny was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Wilkes Barre, PA and attended St. Michaels's Orthodox Church in Wilmington.

Granny loved her Boston terriers and called each one, "Poochie". She was a wonderful cook, making homemade bread and pierogies and she loved to dance the Polka. Her parents were originally from Austria and she spoke fluent Russian.

She was predeceased by her husband Metro "Chip" in 1989, her son Basil "Bill" in 2016, her parents, and her brother John Sedor. Granny is survived by her daughter-in-law of 51 years Linda Timchak, her three grandchildren, Michele Lloyd (Rich), Diane Timchak and William Timchak (Tammy). A special niece, caregiver and friend, Pat Cardoni (Rich) of Seattle WA and many loving nieces and nephews in the Wilkes Barre area.

A special thanks to the staff of Heartland Hospice, especially, Amy, Pauline, Theresa and Kathleen for the excellent care they provided to Granny.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Fern Knoll Burial Park, 129 Midlane Avenue, Dallas, PA 18612.
