AGE: 87 • Wilmington

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Heartland Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wilmington, Ann was the daughter of the late James B. and Anna M. (Rowe) Gallagher and was a graduate of A. I. du Pont High School. She was a social worker for the State of Delaware until her retirement after 30 years of service. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church and enjoyed spending time with family, especially her sister, Dolores. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John F. Naughton, and daughter, Debbie Swiatek.

Ann will be dearly missed by her children: sons, John P., David G. and Kevin P.; her daughters, Connie N. Santora (Mike), Eileen T. Massello (Joe), Carol A. DiSabatino (Stephen), Susan L. Naughton, Coleen M. Naughton and Gail M. Naughton. Also surviving is a son-in-law, Mickey Swiatek; 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and her beloved sister, Dolores Ragazzo (John).

Friends and family are invited to visitation on Friday evening between 6 and 9 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Church, 901 New Road, Elsmere, DE 19805. Interment will follow at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery, Greenville.
