Seaford-Ann Marie Spicer, 87 of Seaford, Delaware died on April 8, 2016.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10am at The Methodist Manor House at 1001 Middleford Road in Seaford, Delaware. Burial will be private.

Ann was born in New York City and raised in Larchmont, NY. She was the daughter of Henry and Anne Dreyer. She earned her degree at Wesley College and is where she met her husband. She was active in many organizations and clubs. She was Past President for multiple terms of The Spade and Trowel Garden Club and was a founding member, a founding member of the Seaford Swim Association, a founding member of the Nanticoke River Yacht Club, a member of the Acorn Club, a member of the Affiliated Women's Clubs, a founding member of many party and duplicate bridge clubs, a member of the Eastern Star, a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader, a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and the Circle of United Methodist Women. She participated in and won several National Cooking Contests.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lou and her son, Jon J. Spicer. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jennings H. Spicer, of Seaford and daughter Anne E. Spicer of Seaford.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Delaware Hospice, Inc.,100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the excellent care and support received through Delaware Hospice, Inc.
