AGE: 86 • Lancaster, PA Formerly of Newark, DE

Anna Mae Williams, age 86, of Willow Street, PA, formerly of Newark, DE, went home to be the Lord surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Anna Mae loved life and possessed a sweet and giving spirit. Her unassuming love for the Lord and hospitable nature was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her life centered around her family and they shared many happy hours at the Jersey shore and participating in the Foster Follies (doing skits with her siblings). Anna Mae enjoyed cooking-especially for the holidays. Some of her many talents included oil painting, decorating and crafting.

Anna Mae is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roger L. Williams; 2 sons, John R. Williams and J. Scott Williams; 2 daughters, Ruth Anne Atkins and Sara Jane Bender; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers: Robert, Ralph, Allen and Richard Foster; 5 sisters: Adelene Robinson, Betty Mutter, Jane Holden, Mary Conway and Hazel Immediato; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Adelene Foster; 2 brothers, Eddie and George Foster; and 1 sister, Erma Moore.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 11 AM - 12 Noon in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Anna's life at 12 Noon.
