Barbara Hyatt Obituary
Barbara Arrington Hyatt, 74, following complications from cancer, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully in her sleep at home in the presence of loving family members and a close personal friend on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Born on August 15, 1946 in Dover, DE, she was the daughter of the late Millard F. Arrington III and Helen Smith Wittle. She was also predeceased by her brother Millard F. Arrington IV. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Gregory S. Hyatt; sister Rebekah A. Ritter of Reading, PA; brother Matthew S. Arrington of Los Angeles, CA; three children, Jennifer L. DiCecco of West Chester, PA, Peter A. Hyatt of Newark, DE, and John A. Hyatt of Chadds Ford, PA; and three grandchildren, Aaron
D. Thomas of Exton, PA, Zachary G. Thomas of West Chester, PA, and Bridget R. Thomas of West Chester, PA.
Over the past number of years she served our tri-county region as a psychiatric mental health practitioner, located in Chadds Ford, PA, providing individual, marital, and family therapy services to a client base of 125. She recently retired on August 31, 2020.
At the heart and soul of Barbara's whole being was her faith in God. Rooted in the biblical scriptures she dedicated her life to serving her husband, her entire family and especially her children and grandchildren, pastors and good friends of the church universal, the varied needs of her clients, and in her close networking relationships with other Christian therapists from our region. She will always be remembered for her very close and personal one-on-one times with everyone as well as within various small group settings. To know Barbara was to experience the true essence of life. For many, Barbara will be remembered as a dear heart who will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Covenant Fellowship Church, One Fellowship Drive, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Masks and social distancing
will be required by all attendees. For those who are unable to attend there will be a livestream of the service which may be found at https://youtu.be/LtOCgQS55mM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Barbara to Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104-9709.

Writing to you now because it was evident that we both had a special anointed gift of Prophecy, so what I wish to tell you now and let your family know, is to please watch what Dr. David Jeremiah wrote in the last two days. This summarizes my reason for writing on Linked in. So my sweet Barb. the reason I parted with you ,and said "I will see you in heaven in a few years", The time has come now very close as written in the Word, for Christ to return. I can't wait for Christ to come back, and watch you dance Celtic style in heaven. You first saw this coming with Covid as a sign. So excited to be alive now and see this happen. Can't wait to dance again like we once did in heaven, my beautiful guardian angel. I hope this brings comfort to all of your living family members.

My sweetest Barbara, and real Irish soul sister, I keep having to watch your funeral and find the bag pipes so comforting. You will never know how much you meant, and how perfectly the Lord used the Powerful two edged sword of the book of Ephesians to heal. It is all praise to a Holy God that He put us together, and I could ever be so healed. Now my writing on Linked in has hit 1,400 people around the world. I write about Jesus and His return! I love you up in heaven, and will never forget you. Closer than a family member and probably related. Family member, Harriett Beecher Stowe wrote "uncle Toms' Cabin".

Dear Barbara, You would be proud of me. I am joining the DAR representing my hometown of Wayne Pa. Family heritage is important. Related to John Hart. An original signer of the Declaration of Independence! So proud to be Irish. Used a purple eyeliner,Now I have such see through pure green eyes like you. I will never forget you! To my beautiful one of a kind soul sister up in heaven. I miss you more with every passing year! Thanks for showing me the unconditional love of our awesome amazing God we serve. My identity is very solid now. Without Christ I am nothing. The Holy Spirit uses me very actively now more than ever. You told me I have a bigger calling on this earth. It did happen as you said. Now I pray globally all around the world with the Navigators. on a global pray team with my best friends from Auburn President Vick and Lindy Black. It is all glory to Christ ! Only He prays through me. Praise Jesus He is so alive and constantly healing people emotionally , physically spiritually everyday! May He return soon! I would like people to know I am the second person that this woman I also experience constantly in my dreams and still speaks to me when I need it up in heaven. I wonder how many people experience this. I had a beautiful dream one night that she took me by my hand and showed me around heaven . She is very happy up there. I was hugged all night by her and shown a lot of flowers and beauty. This she made very clear to me . I could not sit with her and her husband. That is a special sweet for him at a picnic table . It was so beautiful I asked Jesus if I could stay . He said your calling is not up on this earth. She told me my calling is so high on this earth. This did come true as I am a global prayer warrior with the Navigators! I hope this gives people hope! Believe in Jesus now For He is soon to return. Amen and praise only Him!

Last night I received a notification in my email that an entry had been added to this site for Barbara. It made me think of how blessed I was to have her as my counselor and how much I miss her advice and guidance and friendship. I´m still dealing with a couple challenges that she was helping me navigate through. Last night I had a dream about her... She asked how I was doing? Am I okay? Then she gave me a big hug that lasted awhile and then looked at me with a big reassuring smile. Tomorrow is my birthday... I like to think it was her saying hello! What a wonderful birthday gift

Clearly jammed out to celtic worship music and hard Rock. Privately jamming and praising the Lord! Who says it is boring to be a christian! Very fun witty Irish woman. And yes I am also Scotch Irish. I will never forget Barbara even as the the years go by I do grieve every year around this time Huge condolences to the Hyatt family especially to her grown kids and husband. I still experience her through prophetic dreams and she did say to me that she would make a special reguest to Jesus to be my gaurdian Angel forever.I still go to sleep to my special celtic worship music, that she passed onto me as another Irish woman.Praise God for her Happiness in heaven. She is very happy up there and dances her celtic dance all day!

I still think hink of Barbara when good things happen to me. She would be celebrating and giving thanks right along with me as I´ve had some positive life changing things happen for me since she´s been gone. I believe Barbara is another guardian angel watching over me. I am grateful she knew just how much I appreciated her and all she did for me that will last the rest of my days. What I have learned from her I pass onto others who are in need. Gone but NEVER forgotten .

It's only been 2 years since Barbara passed but it seems so much longer. I am forever thankful that God sent Barbara to me. I am forever thankful to Barbara for all of her loving compassion, empathy and wisdom. I have never known anyone like her before and I am sure I never will again. Gone but NEVER forgotten. Barbara was my counselor for 8 plus years. She hung in there with me when many times I was ready to hospitalized. Her love for Christ spilled over on to me as she relied on her faith for all things. She was by far the most dedicated and loving counselor I have ever had and I was devastated when she was diagnosed with cancer. She hung in there, but in the end, it spread like a brush fire. She clearly was filled with compassion, love, and a desire to help. I am crying as I write this. Rest with Jesus my Sweet sister in Christ. Love, Mary and Snuggles the beagle. xoxoxoxoxo

Barbara was a true blessing in my life.... God blessed me with an angel during a very challenging time. Barbara’s compassion, kindness, faith and wisdom were gifts she shared generously with myself and others. She was such a beautiful person and I feel very grateful to have had her guidance in my life.
I truly miss her, she is one of a kind... a precious soul who has touched many lives... making people all the better for just having known her.

Last Christmas Barbara and I used a hymnal and sang and worshiped together. I will always remember her lifting her hands with me and feeling the Holy Spirit touching both of us as we sang the song that says no fear in death but here in the power of Christ I stand. The Holy Spirit filled the room as we worshiped.

Barbara helped me through some very challenging times in my life. As a fellow nurse she and I spoke the same language. She always encouraged me with my faith and as a wife and mother. Her loss will be felt but it gives me great comfort to know that she is home with Jesus who she loves so much.

She was the most beautiful inner spirit and godly woman I have ever met.I was a friend and client for 20 years.She became closer than any family member,except for my dear husband Rick.I feel very close to Barbara now,because she is in heaven now and praying for us and dancing with Jesus over us.She loved her pink pointsetas and all flowers.When my father passed away he saw many bright golden flowers.She must be so happy now! She is out of pain and in her glorified body praising Jesus and singing all day long!Praise God for Barbaras' life.She glorified the Lord !
