Ben Austin Wolfe

Ben went to his permanent home built for him by Jesus on Tue., Sept. 8, 2015 due to cardio respiratory arrest. He was born to Arthur and Elizabeth Wolfe in Pine Grove, PA. As a young man Ben served in the US Navy after which he began his career as a Realtor, manager, and vice president spanning 42 years in PA, DE, and MD through the offices of Prudential Realtors, B. Gary Scott, Inc., and Harris-Hanby Realtors. He worked with builders/developers in land acquisition and appraising as well as selling and building custom log homes for Kuhns Bros. Log Homes. For 19 years he taught real estate construction and sales at the U of D, Widner Univ., Wesley College, GBC, and DE Tech Comm. College.

He enjoyed hobbies of hunting and fishing. Ben was an active member of Calvary Independent Fundamental Baptist Church in Quarryville, PA. He enthusiastically served the Lord each and every day in all capacities of his life. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior as a child. He leaves his wife of 38 years, Jo Ann Wolfe; children, Debbie Pineault, Linda Doughten, and Scott Wolfe; grandchildren, Kasey Herrera, Ben Wolfe, Christine Minker and Faith Cooke; great grandchildren, Bella Minker and Grace Minker, Adrian Herrera, Gabriel Herrera and Michael Herrera; one brother, Larry Wolfe and two sisters Nancy Krammes (deceased) and Lola Gabarino.

Funeral services will be at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00PM with Pastor Daniel Cristman officiating. Interment will follow in Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12:00Noon until the time of service.
