Appleton, WI - Bruce Wayne Marker, 67, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018 in Appleton, WI after a brief illness. Born to the late W. Robert Marker and the late Carolyn (Wayland) Anderson in Wilmington, DE; August 25, 1950.

After graduating from Middletown High School in 1968 he enlisted in the navy in 1970 where he met and married his wife, Carol Gorges. He worked for DeDOT until his retirement and served as an elder and counselor at Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church.

In 2014 he and his wife moved to Wisconsin where he volunteered for the Salvation Army and served as an elder at Emmaus Road Presbyterian Church. He trusted his Savior and knew without a shadow of a doubt that he would spend eternity with His Father in heaven.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Carol, their sons Cory (Amanda) of North Carolina, Jason (Jennefer) of Idaho, and his 5 grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Linda Bailey (Jim), brothers Gary, Bryan (Karen) and Gregg, all of Delaware.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Bruce's church - Emmaus Road PCA or the Salvation Army, both in Appleton, WI. Services will be held at Valley Funeral, Appleton, WI.
